WINAMP ADDON TO 'speak out loud' ARTIST and TITLE of MP3 songs

 

There is an addon for winamp that enables it to speak out the Title Artist Album names of the song being played.

This is demonstrated in the video below

The addon is DJAMP which can be downloaded from HERE

There are a few requirements for this to work on your computer

  • Microsoft text-to-speech engine must be installed.Not just any engine but the 'The Lernout & Hauspie TruVoice American English Text-to-Speech Engine' which can be downloaded from HERE
  • Microsoft Agent DOWNLOAD HERE
  • Visit MICROSOFT AGENTS SITE to download agents but download PEEDY(PARROT) because it is necessary

Make sure to restart the computer after installing the engines

NeuroSky Inc unveils their Brain wave reading headset named Mindset

California-based NeuroSky Inc recently unveiled their new headset named Mindset.

The introduction of brainwave readers in to the gamming world has begun.

Soon we may see major games being released with this capability,as commercial processing power and abundant memory becomes more affordable for home users.

As of now only kids Games can be played with this technology but in 4-5 years gamers may be able to play GTA like games  using these headsets!

POP Access Settings now available on Yahoo's YMAIL

 

In order to read your Yahoo! Mail in an external email client (such as Eudora, Outlook, Netscape, etc.), you will need to configure the Incoming (POP) and Outgoing (SMTP) server settings so that it can send and receive messages from your Yahoo! Mail account. Generally, you can find these settings under the Tools or Preferences menus for your particular email program.

Use SSL, port: 995
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):    in.smtp.mail.yahoo.com smtp

Use SSL, port: 465, use authenticationserver ports

Password:    Your Yahoo! Mail password
